Sample Speed chromatically
« on: July 18, 2015, 12:42:50 PM »
Hi
Thanks for vosyr, surely the best volca sample editor.
But the volca sample has a problem, we can't play samples chromatically in a easy way.
A mini piano roll would be my dream, is it planned?
Best regards

If a true piano roll isn't feasible, even just the chromatic entry that the volca currently has would be fine. For instance, clicking on the current motion sequencing bars but having the bar grid snap to chromatic divisons (like when you hold function and tweak the speed knob on the volca). Ideally you would have quantized scales as well haha but that's probably asking for too much.

Great news, thanks a lot :)
But with vosyr 2.0 and the preview sequencer, we can do melodies in a better way than directly from the volca.
We just have to know the chromatic division, i found this website helpfull:
http://filipe-teixeira.com/electronic-music/volca-resources/volca-sample-tutorial-3-working-with-automation/
Look at the end of the page  ;)

Sorry for my english, best regards

EDIT: hmm sorry, i have not tested very well the automation panel, we can't see the modified value...perhaps just add the number like in the params view could help
