Title: QWERTY Support for triggering samples?
Post by: syrupcore on August 05, 2017, 11:38:46 PM
This app is such a delight. Thank you so much for all the work!

It would be really handy, for me anyway, to be able to use the ten upper numeric keys to be able to trigger samples on the current row (the row with last triggered/edited/dropped sample).

I imagine I'm not alone in setting up sample banks like this: 1-9=kicks, 10-19=snares, etc. When you've spent a while pulling samples together and are trying to maximize utility, I would really help to be able to quickly A/B slots — "Is this clap sample wastefully similar to this other clap sample?". Of course, the mouse already works for this but it's much slower, making it hard to quickly toggle two or three samples in quick succession for comparison.

I guess this could be extended to full QWERTY support for 4 rows at a time. Surely that'd be welcome by many but a row at a time would work plenty well for me.

Thanks for reading and hopefully considering! And thanks again for vosyr! I did look around a bit for the source code first to see if I could just help but don't see it out there. :)
